Project "Mediation and use of the best practices in Prague Airport region"
Project period is August 2011-August 2013. Project exists thanks to financial subsidy of The Ministry of Environment and consists of two main issues:
•Involvement of the mediation methods into the legal process of the negotiation about developement of the Prague Airport and surrounded region (concerning especially The Second Parallel Runway Project, which is now at the stage of discussion in regard of the EIA-Environmental Impact Assessment)
•Use of the best practices from the other european airport regions to reduce negative impact of the airport to the region
To achieve these goals we will use the following steps: •We will search, translate, publish and spread information and documents about both issues to prepare public and responsible authorities and stakeholders for the next discussion •We will organize two conferences presenting our topics from the domestic and european point of view •We will arrange five smaller workshops organized directly in the most affected municipalities •Our website will be improved. We want to bring an understandable way with more information concerning the airport and its neighbourhood from the point of residential and municipal view
